The subjects offered are as follows:
For Deeniyah, children are introduced to general subjects of Islam such as pillar of Islam & Iman, Fiqh, Tauhid, Sirah and others. It is to give children the idea and implement the Islamic values and knowledge in teaching them.
For Islah, children are exposed with the story of companions, culture, history and geographic subjects in Malaysia. It is to give them knowledge and open their mind about the environment that they live in.
Numeracy is an innovative ways to solve problems and essential to apply it in everyday life. The aims to learn mathematics are for the children to become fluent (to recall information rapidly and accurately), reason mathematically (to justify each problems with the use of mathematics) and solve problems (applying mathematics in everyday life). Things that they learned are about counting, calculations, money, shape, ordering etc.
Sign of Allah
In Sign of Allah, children are taught about things around them that shows the sign of Allah. It will includes part of body, human and other creation, plants, animals etc. It is important to teach them about the sign of Allah in the early age, because to make them familiar and understand that Allah is our Creator for all creatures in the world and reflect upon it.
Languages that are taught at AATECC are English, Malay, Arabic and Mandarin. English and Arabic as a medium languages that are used at AATECC as well as Malay. Meanwhile, Mandarin is an added language taught in this school. The focus on languages should comprised on the ability to listen, speak, read and write. Materials that are used must be suitable to the children’s development.
For Talaqi subject, children are taught in a small group about Islamic knowledge such as Aqidah, Tawheed, Akhlaq etc. It is conducted as to give spiritual values in each students.
Arts & Craft
It is the highest form of human creativity. Children are free to express their ideas and opinions through arts and craft. It can be said through this subject, children are given opportunity to play with the use of arts and craft. In The National Curriculum in England, it said that the children should be taught to:
to use a range of materials creatively to design and make products
to use drawing, painting and sculpture to develop and share their ideas, experiences and imagination
to develop a wide range of art and design techniques in using color, pattern, texture, line, shape, form and space
